The Weather in San Sebastian

 

The city is situated in the north of the Basque Autonomous Community, on the southern coast of the Bay of Biscay.

San Sebastián features an oceanic climate with warm summers and cool winters. Like many cities with this climate, San Sebastián typically experiences frequent cloudy or overcast conditions for the majority of the year, typically with some precipitation or heavy rainfall. The coldest month is usually January, with an average temperature of 7.9ºC and the hottest one is August, with an average of 20ºC.
